The incredible articulation of Wrangler's Quadra-Coil suspension
helps keep all four of its wheels on the ground in rocky terrain.
Front and rear solid axles combine with a rugged network of coil springs
and locating arms. Front and rear stabilizer and track bars help ensure
excellent cornering, minimize body lean, and contribute to outstanding
ride and handling. To give you an edge in avoiding unexpected obstacles,
Wrangler's available four-wheel antilock brakes (ABS) work in both
2WD and 4WD.
For
added safety, a child seat anchor is now standard on all models
and is located on the floor behind the rear seat.
Wrangler's
other safety features include standard Next Generation air bags
designed to prevent unintended deployment off-highway. The front-passenger
air bag features a weatherized front passenger air bag on/off switch
for the ultimate in safety technology.
